Some of the responsibilities of the Closing Management Network are:
- Prepare legal documents
- Conduct title searches and assist in the clearing of title issues
- Calculate payoffs
- Process equities
- Represent both Cendant Mobility's and the client's interests at closing
- Pay property taxes on inventory properties
Membership Criteria
The Closing Management Network is a centrally managed and electronically linked national network.
Our membership criteria includes:
- Proven market leadership in respective region
- Specialized knowledge of corporate relocation, consumer lending, and asset management
- Volume of residential closings and ancillary services
- Experienced and trained staff capable of meeting or exceeding service guarantees: on-line file documentation, search results within five working days, proceeds forwarded within 48 hours of closing, closing packages within 48 hours, client-specific directives
- Communication through the Internet and various local networks
- Electronic closing document capabilities
Performance Evaluation and Training
Members of the Closing Management Network are managed by a team of accounting and closing network managers who monitor the performance of the network on a file-by-file basis, as well as through monthly reporting procedures.
Continued membership in the network is based on the representative's consistency in meeting or exceeding the following performance criteria:
- Ability to meet criteria for timeliness
- Accuracy and quality of documentation
- Professionalism, responsiveness, and enthusiasm in assuring quality service to Cendant Mobility's corporate clients and customers
- Attendance at National Symposium
- Participation in both in-house and Network training events
